Shipping and Returns

Our shipping days are Monday through to Thursday for next day delivery. We only bake to order. It takes one week from order/ processing date to shipping date.

Please note we only ship to Mainland UK and the Isle of Weight

All shipments are next day delivery except for the Scottish Highlands for which delivery will take two days.    

Deliveries are charged at £6.50 up to 5.5kg

Our courier is DHL or similar. Once your order has left us you will receive a SMS to say that your shipment is under way. Should you not be at home to receive your order you will be able to choose different options such as delivering to a neighbour, leaving the parcel in a safe place or collecting the parcel from a local shop. Please note, that due to the perishable nature of our products, the courier will not take the goods back to the depot.

Please note that The Bread Queen and its employees cannot be held responsible for our courier’s failure to deliver at the specified time due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a problem with your delivery we will of course do our best to rectify the situation.

Ownership of the products will pass to you once delivered to the address you provide or it is collected by you. (Whichever is earlier)

Returns

We cannot  accept returns for perishable goods. If your order arrived damaged in any way, please email us immediately at hello@thebreadqueen.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
In the event of a refund, we can only refund you on the original credit/debit card used to make the original purchase. Please be aware that it might take 7 days for the refund to appear on your records.

What to do when your order arrives.

For best results, any of the breads or cinnamon buns you are not intending to bake off within 24 hours of receiving them we recommend freezing on arrival.

Q Can I bake bread straight from frozen?

A: Baguettes yes, Sourdoughs no, Cinnamon Buns no. Please see baking instructions on the label or our Bake off guide here.
