General Terms & Conditions

1. The Promoter The promoter is THE FRANKONIAN BREAD HOUSE LIMITED (trading as The Bread Queen), a company registered in the UK (Company Number: 04305233), whose registered office is at Arygll House 2nd Floor, 23 Brook Street, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, KT1 2BN (the “Promoter”).

2. The Competition These general terms and conditions apply to all competitions, giveaways, and prize draws run by the Promoter on its website or social media channels. Each competition will also have specific terms (the “Specific Terms”) detailing the prize, closing date, and entry mechanics. If there is a conflict between these General Terms and the Specific Terms, the Specific Terms will prevail.

3. Eligibility 3.1. Unless otherwise stated in the Specific Terms, competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over. 3.2. Employees of the Promoter, its partners, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with the administration of the competition are excluded from entering. 3.3. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof of your eligibility.

4. How to Enter 4.1. The entry mechanics and opening/closing dates will be set out in the Specific Terms or the promotional social media post. Entries received after the stipulated closing time will be invalid. 4.2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network, or server failure of any kind. 4.3. Use of scripts, macros, or any automated system to enter the competition is prohibited and entries made via such systems will be disqualified.

5. The Prize 5.1. The prize is specified in the Specific Terms. 5.2. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so. 5.3. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.

6. Winner Selection and Notification 6.1. Winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process (or an independent person) within 3 days of the closing date, unless otherwise specified. 6.2. The winner will be notified via Direct Message (DM) on the platform they used to enter (e.g., Instagram) by the official Promoter account. 6.3. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 3 days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the prize and select an alternative winner in accordance with the process described above.

7. Winner Announcement 7.1. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails hello@thebreadqueen.co.uk within 1 month after the closing date. 7.2. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

8. Social Media Platforms 8.1. Where a competition is hosted on Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media platform, it is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with that platform. 8.2. By entering, you fully release the relevant social media platform from any liability associated with the competition.

9. Data Protection Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (https://thebreadqueen.co.uk/privacy-statement-uk/) and for the purpose of administering this competition.

10. General 10.1. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so. 10.2. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, they must do so within the courts of England and Wales.
